Featuring the Civil War artifact collection of Craig and Cynthia Wertz, early axes and tools including wrought iron hardware from the Bill DuPont estate, plus additions from other local collections of militaria and Americana, tools and railroad lanterns.

Highlights of Day 1 Militaria & Americana include: Maynard Carbine, Colt M1860 Army pistol, Confederate Kerr Pistol, Confederate Richmond pattern Sword buckle, Confederate Georgia belt buckle dug at the Wilderness, USS Housatonic grouping, dug artillery projectiles and fragments and bullets from different battlefields including Gettysburg, Antietam, Kennesaw Mountain and Cedar Creek, Reading 1st Defenders Reunion Photo, CDVs and tintypes (some identified to Pennsylvania regiments), 48th Pennsylvania Medal of Honor Group, regimental histories and a quilt featuring Civil War Corps Badges.

Highlights of Day 1 Tools, Hardware and Railroad Lanterns include: Signed axes and tools from Lancaster, Berks, Lebanon and York Counties. Blacksmith names include Benser, Sener, Hofman and Silvius from Lancaster County and Addams, Lichty, Moyer, Stoudt, Seidel, Schilt, Snyder and Stricker from Berks County. Moravian wrought iron door hardware, fireplace utensils and other wrought iron implements from the 18th and 19th centuries. Railroad lanterns including PRR, Louisville & Nashville and Erie railroads.  Some very rare examples and some signed/dated examples as well.
